Women of God

This is a Thursday afternoon Ladies’ Life Group, facilitated by Pastor Judy Pribis, which meets at the church every Thursday at 1:00 pm. Along with weekly Bible studies, this group also seeks to actively minister to those within the church family and beyond through a card and prayer ministry called “Seeds of Encouragement.” From time to time we also do sunshine baskets or make cards to help brighten the lives of those going through difficult times.

Our Thursday Women of God Life Group will be starting a new study in a few weeks (date to be announced). We will be studying Rick Warren’s book God’’s Answers to Life’’s Difficult Questions.

In this book, Warren seeks to provide Biblical answers to the following questions: How can I cope with stress? How can I rebound from failure? How can I defeat depression? How can I live above average? How can I have peace of mind? How can I handle discouragement? How can I overcome my problems? How can I be confident in crisis? How can I ever change? How did I get myself into this mess? How can I overcome loneliness? Why is this happening to me? Warren uses Biblical characters to help us discover God’s answers to life’’s difficult and perplexing problems.

Turnpike Wesleyan exists to honor God by making more disciples for Jesus Christ. We endeavor to do this by connecting through worship, growing through Life groups and serving in community & ministry projects.
